Why I love Korg Gadget's Taipei ... and my new Behringer IS202 (Lightning Jack)

I've already announced that I think it's a shame that special gear is disappearing from the market so quickly, such as the Zoom ARQ and the Behringer IS202.

The IS202 has certainly been taken off the market because the old connection was no longer up-to-date. Unfortunately, Behringer was unable to bring himself to reissue the IS202 as a version with a Lightning connector. As I said, why is a mystery to me.

So I was all the more pleased to see the IS202 as a one-time conversion with a Lightning connection in a sales group on Facebook. At this point, many thanks to the good Rainer, who finally decided to sell the device with it. Fantastic

There will be a separate video for the IS202, where I explain and show everything in detail and also go into the conversion.

But today I wanted to test a bit with the Korg Gadget. I like the Taipei gadget because you can use it to control devices outside of the iPad with MIDI and because patches are already stored for the common Volcas.

This jam has a simple arpeggio and a bass line. What I want to show is the versatility you get when you combine the two. You can import the sequences in Karg Gadget and then experiment with the Volcas. It's great and a lot of fun.
