NTPC Green Energy Limited अब Bihar में Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) और Renewable Energy Plants के जरिए बड़ा निवेश करने जा रही है। इसके लिए उसने Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited के साथ Agreement किया है। यह साझेदारी केंद्र सरकार के Carbon Emission Reduction Mission का हिस्सा है। Patna में दोनों कंपनियों के Top Officials की मौजूदगी में समझौता हुआ।
हाल ही में NTPC Green Energy ने Uttar Pradesh में 1,000 MW का Solar Project 2.56 ₹/unit की रिकॉर्ड दर पर जीता था। अब बिहार में कंपनी का फोकस सस्ती और टिकाऊ Infrastructure पर है।
