Live from Ankara — Pope Leo XIV pays tribute to Atatürk with a visit to the renowned Anıtkabir Mausoleum, a symbol of the Turkish Republic. After the wreath-laying ceremony and signing of the Book of Honor, the Pope visits the museum dedicated to the founder of modern Türkiye (Turkey).
Afterwards, he transfers to the Presidential Palace for the Welcome Ceremony with full State honors, followed by the official meeting with the President — the first institutional moment of the apostolic journey.
