From the exit to Maratea (on the hill) I could see the coastal road was closed. For me that ment that it would be quiet to park there. But it was so much better. I saw the beautifull beach at Marina di Maratea (ep77) and now walked on the road to Castocucco. Normally this would be impossible but with the road closed it was a great experience. There are still some cars that drive up to the roadblock but its very few.
And on this road I could see a sentiero (hiking trail) down the beach (to Castrocucco) and a hiking trail up the mountain (the sentiero Maratea Skyline).
