42 minutes of CITV (c.26/8/86)

Описание: Here's a real lockdown treat for you: a 42-minute chunk of CITV from August 1986, presented by T-Bag and T-Shirt. I know for certain that a very specific generation will experience a huge wave of nostalgia over this, so I won't say too much so as not to spoil any surprises. Actually, the biggest surprise of all for me was that I thought for sure I'd have to edit at least something out of this clip, but after doing my research, it seems that all the relevant rights-holders are happy to monetise all the programmes in question, and so here we are, exactly as it was on the tape, until it ran out. Everyone wins! (Everyone, that is, apart from Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark, where this video is blocked - there's a clue right there to one of the shows included. This is the theme tune I remember, too.)

Going by the mentions of T-Bag Strikes Again, I reckon the date of broadcast may be Tuesday, 26th August, 1986, but I'm willing to be corrected on that. It's weird to think that there's a very good chance I watched this 'live' as it went out back then, and I know for certain I was watching the next day (for T-Bag) and the Friday that week, as I remember T-Shirt making a run for it as their monthly CITV stint came to an end, but being trapped in the sliding door as he was going through it. His instant revenge was T-Bag in her shiny new boots stepping right on his comedy oversized sticky lollipop which he'd been licking all day. Or something like that. I'd love to see again how it all ended.
