No you do not have to remove a govenor, no you do not have to replace any parts, all you have to do is back out a screw in your throttle a little bit and your done! I did this on my gokart and realized there were no videos on youtube about it! This is 100% safe for your engine and it is 100% reversable too. It raises the rpms from 3600-4300ish... my gokart speed has increased for 20mph to a top of 37mph going down hill!!! It raises the horsepower from 6.5hp to about 7.3 hp!!! So go out! Make your gokart 17% OR MORE faster!!! My engine is a honda gx200 clone... this works on most of clones and my baja minibike...
