Plastic reeds have benefits. They are always ready to be played, no putting them in your mouth or water to prepare them. They work from the start. The fibracell reed number #3 was surprisingly very good too. The wooden reed a number 2/12 which is supposed to be easy to play was not at all. It was horrible but then again, it was a cecilio, not a Van Doren, Rico, La Vaz ect. Check out this video it can save you time, effort and money.
