This short newsreel shows Jack Hobbs marking the first century of the 1920 season with a spot of batting for the cameras, with wicketkeeper Bert Strudwick in support. Surrey scored an impressive innings of 114 - including 12 fours and a six - in the second innings of the opening three day match, against Northamptonshire at the Oval.
