70 Nova Firewall, floor pan, frame rail, cross rail, trunk pan and drop off installation video 1

Описание: On this video we continue the build on the 70 Nova and installing some new parts covering the entire firewall to cross rail underside of the car. I first start with prepping the firewall and installing a Detroit speed smooth firewall kit. Then we take all the parts we plan on installing and sandblasting them before adding weld through primer and two coats of epoxy primer. I show the importance and why we sandblasted the parts finding some rust showing up under the e coating of the main floor section. I go over the differences between Auto Metal Direct AMD frame rails and the Dynacorn ones for the 68-72 Nova. After the parts walk through I start the assembly on the frame rails, rear cross rail, trunk pan, trunk drop offs and then move my way onto the front firewall and side cowl panels.

We finish off the main parts installation by installing the main floor section for the first time and run into major rear frame fitment issues. I go over the rear frame issues and how we got into this issue and how we will go about fixing them. also how you can avoid this issue down the road on your Nova build.
