This video is the third video in a 4 part series of instructions on how to collect valid fiber samples for an upcoming national cashmere goat genetic study. Join CGA to learn how you and your goats can help scientists discover the genes behind quality cashmere! This exciting project is funded through the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture 1890 Institution Capacity Building Grant Program.
The grant will cover the cost of fiber analysis and genetic analysis. Participants need only cover cost of shipping their samples.
