Begnas Lake Nepal most beautiful lakes besides many other glacial ponds and lakes, located Nepal Mid-West within the district of Kaski around Gandaki zone of country number four states, a charming and scenic Begnas lakes which is one of the best places to see in Pokhara.
A mere distance of 10 k.m. from Pokhara on drive from Chitwan or Kathmandu which is less an hour ahead from main Pokhara city, where drive diverts from main highway heading north for short while to reach at the shore of beautiful lake, surrounded by green hills dotted with many farm villages and well-tended rows of terraces with views of high peaks that reflects on the surface of Begnas Lake.
Begnas, a freshwater lake which is third largest lakes of Nepal and second-largest, after Phewa Lake, among the eight lakes around beautiful Pokhara Valley, where the area of Begnas Lake covers 3.28 square km at the height of 650 m / 2,144 ft and catchment area of 49 sq.kms with depth of 6.6 m / 22 ft.
