In this episode we install cam phase actuators on or 2014 Jeep JKU Sahara in an attempt to remedy the problem with the jeep going into limp mode while towing our Meaner Bean Trailer up hills and also when just going up long hills with nothing in tow during summer months. This doesnt fix the problem so it looks like cam phasers are in our future but it is something that could be bad when it is giving you the P0394 code for camshaft position sensor. The JK is known for having issues with the cam phasers and it requires a lot more work to get to them so we wanted to do all we could before opening up the top of the motor to check the cams and phasers so join me for an easy day in the shop.
