Parkzone Extra 300 with Flaperons HD

Описание: Flaperons make a good aerobatic airfoil work better. The Strip ailerons work with the elevator to create more lift when needed, either positive or negative. As a bonus, the ailerons can both be drooped for landing flaps. I activate the partial landing flap function via the landing switch and the retract switch for full flaps in the final flare. Switches are much faster and more predictable than the rotary dial. Flaperons work great for square maneuvers and almost completely eliminate tip stall. The Parkzone Extra 300 is a real delight to fly. Snaps and rolls immediately after takeoff are natural because the aircraft starts flying immediately and doesn't need to coast for a moment to "get on the step". Snap rolls are perfect with no wash out or loss of speed. 3 horizontal snaps are easy and the PZE 300 rotates cleanly about the spinner. The full snap in the vertical up line of a stall line is perfect with no loss of heading or speed which is exceptional. Knife edge is good but takes some elevator mixing. Axial rolls are excellent and the down elevator pitch is very strong. Spins are very true and recovery prompt. Speed is moderate for a model this size which is why it seems larger than it is. There's plenty of time to think but enough power to fly up through the maneuvers easily. Out of the box the wings seem a little "wiggly" but a bead of white water based caulk around the wing to fuselage joint firms things up a lot. Same with the stablizer. The landing gear pops out when landed on grass and the best adhesive to glue it back in with is the expanding foam bought at the hardware store. If you work quickly and smear the stuff around inside completely it will hold together strongly. The foam is light, expands to fill gaps and very sticky so be careful and use just a little bit. Use weights to hold gear in place for a couple hours till the foam sets up overnight. The Parkzone Extra 300 is a favorite airplane. Everything works together and makes you look like a better pilot because is does nothing wrong. Some airplanes fly through the maneuvers on just the motor but this combo has more finesse and subtlety. The proportions are good, the color scheme fine and the aerodynamics are spot-on. To get all of this in such a small package is remarkable. It flies much better than I had expected. Good job Mike M.!
