I've been through the feeling of being overwhelmed with long reading lists, not knowing how to extract key information from cases and doubting whether I should even be in law school. However, I've also invested hours into learning how to study effectively, covering everything from how to make lecture and reading notes, to how to write essays. I am a big believer in the idea that it is always possible to improve your study skills, and although it took some work, this effort paid off during my second and third year. I saw a really encouraging improvement in my grades, and learnt how to balance studying alongside everything else I did in law school (and believe me, I was doing the most at times).
