In February 2020, the Toshi Clinch Big Band came together for two evenings to pay tribute to the jazz icon Dizzy Gillespie. Each night was divided into a set of classic songs by Gillespie as well as a full performance of the Gillespiana suite written by Lalo Schifrin. The second concert was filmed and recorded, culminating in a set of live performance videos and an upcoming album release.
