Not having retracts I understand...but how can an aerobatic jet not come with a functional rudder?! How do you execute a slow axial roll, 4 point rolls or sustained knife edge without a rudder?
Conveniently there is a nice space beside the elevator servo that would make it super easy to install a rudder servo and the owner/pilot sounded keen to make this modification. Micro servos are very cheap so would not cost a lot to retrofit with the rudder control surface already marked out. It is best to make this modification BEFORE you glue the tail together though !
