ACER PALMATUM SHIN DESHOJO/FIRST SPECIMEN PLANT FOR MY PATIO

Описание: In this weeks video I buy my first specimen plant for my hidden patio and also some shabby chic containers which I love. After the loss during the blizzard of my beautiful standard weeping Cotoneaster I decided I wanted a Japanese Maple to soften the lines of the new patio. Our local garden centre had just brought in a shipment and I went from 4 possible varieties down to 2 possible varieties and then the winner was finally the Acer Palmatum Shin Deshojo. Of all the Japanese Maples this has the most stunning spring foliage and the "Shin" version lasts even longer. I am trying to plant things that give interest all year around as many of the plants I inherited with this garden give a few fleeting moments of joy per year and I am looking for big performers so little by little I am replacing either things I just don't like or in this case unfortunately something that was very beautiful but didn't survive the blizzard last winter. Since this is a 4 season tree I will be updating each season as she shows off her ever changing seasonal foliage. I hope that this will be a great asset to the garden.
