Hike to Third Vault Falls | A Slippery Experience

Описание: 🎥 In this episode: Third Vault Falls is one of the standout waterfalls in Fundy National Park, dropping roughly 30 metres (100 feet) through a narrow forested gorge. In the summer months, the hike to the falls is about 3 km round trip from the seasonal parking lot.

On this trip, winter conditions changed things a bit. The trail was snow-packed, and with the summer lot closed we had to park just off the road, adding roughly another kilometre to the hike. The steep descents—especially the ice-covered stairs—made the way in slow and technical.

We took a short break at the falls before starting the climb back out. What was mostly downhill on the way in turned into a steady uphill push on the return, and with a snow-rain mix already falling, the goal was to get out before it turned into heavy rain.

Late-season hiking in Fundy is always a mix of beauty, effort, and changing conditions—and this one delivered all three.
