The Chevrolet Master and Master Deluxe were Chevy’s solid and dependable passenger car offering between 1933 and 1942. It took over from the popular but ageing Chevrolet Eagle series, and improved upon it in nearly every way. As World War II raged on, production ceased in 1942 to redirect precious resources towards the war effort.
