Upon landing at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh, the difference in weather was immediately felt. The air was dry and significantly colder than Kolkata. Temperature on arrival: 10–12°C.

Check-in process was straightforward, requiring ID proof and prior booking confirmation. The staff was polite and professional. The building is part of a quiet residential area, away from commercial noise.

• Basic furniture: table, chairs, cupboard
• TV and ceiling fan (not needed in winter)
• Room heater on request (chargeable in some cases)

The guesthouse was simple but well-maintained. The compound had trees and ample space for parking.
