Corrientes https://corrientessocialclub.co.uk returns with Milonga Traspié a homage to Sebastian Piana and Homero Manzi two of the greatest milonga creators and innovators.
In december 1988 Sebastian Piana (1903-1994) performed on an outdoor concert in Buenos Aires, he plays 'Milonga Sentimental' to an instrumental piano solo version.
From his collaboration with Manzi in 1931 another great hit was achieved: Milonga Sentimental and later in 1940 Pena Mulata.
To talk about milonga music from the 'Golden Era'
is to refer to the inventive, creative partnership between Sebastián Piana and Homero Manzi.
