I use a Shimano 4000ST Baitrunner loaded with 12lb main and 10lb tough Fluorocarbon Hooklengh, size 4 short shank really wide gape strong hook, not sure about the brand though. The rods an 8ft Wychwood Agitator Lure 20 - 60grm so just over 2oz casting weight but it can take more. I use it for shallow wreck fishing with a 3oz lead no probs.. Got a good backbone to it..
