HOT HEAT 1 from the 2008 Robert Chatterton Grasstrack, and Reg Blackbourn more famous for putting on the Lincolnshire Poacher on a big track, these smaller meetings were run on smaller tracks, and to be honest, they produced much closer racing. This is the first of 4 HOT HEATS from this meeting, and we start with Colin Blackbourn/Carl Pugh having a terrific battle with Rob Bradley/Shaun Simpson. Blackbour just about gets the drop on Bradley in the first bend, but then has to try and fend Bradley off for the rest of the race.
