About the speaker: Melanie Sadek is a values-driven leader and the CEO of Valley Humane Society, where she has served for over 14 years. Under her leadership, the organization has expanded its reach and deepened its impact by fostering programs that strengthen the bond between people and animals. As Chair of the California Animal Welfare Association’s Legislative & Advocacy Committee, Melanie works to advance policy solutions in Sacramento that benefit communities statewide. She is widely known for her collaborative spirit, bringing people and organizations together to solve complex challenges, build partnerships, and drive meaningful change.
