Visiting the Canberra Balloon Spectacular and the Enlighten Festival should be on your bucket list. Its been awesome to start 2024 with such an amazing trip.

Lake burley Griffith is part of the Molonglo river in Canberra. We'll be launching from Lake Park near the Eagle and Russell offices and next to the Rowing and Dragon boat clubs and heading west to Patrick White gardens to see the balloons launch. We'll then move in front of the national museum to watch the balloons touch down on the water. Along the way I'll make several new friends and get to see a number of balloons.

While this expedition is not step by step I will show you where I stayed to help you try and identify if this might work for you in 2025.
