NJ eliminates 'redundant' test for teacher certification

Описание: Nearly all of New Jersey’s legislators voted last year to remove the Praxis Basic Skills test as a requirement for teacher certification. That change went into effect Jan. 1. The measure had bipartisan support across both houses of the Legislature, and all but three legislators agreed, it was an extra step that didn’t actually measure teacher preparedness.
