Israel's military on alert a day after attack

Описание: (29 Jan 2015) The Israeli military remained on high alert a day after the deadliest escalation between Israel and Lebanon since the war in 2006.
Wednesday's flare-up started when the Lebanese Hezbollah group fired a salvo of anti-tank missiles at an Israeli military convoy in a disputed border area, killing two soldiers and wounding seven.
The attack was in retaliation for a deadly Israeli airstrike on Hezbollah fighters inside neighbouring Syria earlier this month.
Israel responded to the missiles with shelling.
A Spanish peacekeeper with the United Nations force in southern Lebanon was also killed in the flare-up at the border.
The Israeli defence minister said the military is "ready for any development" and warned against further attacks.
