This makita came in as it was loosing power when cutting. The problem is the gear on the end of the armature didnt hold and started spinnning on the shaft. Causing the gear and shaft to ware away and become loose.
It needed a new armature, gear and clamping coil spring.
These wall chasers have neen out some time now and are quite good, but not realy suited to someone chasing wall full time all the time.
