Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Patriot Hitches five-way three ball mount with stacked receivers. Now this drop hitch with stacked receivers has been designed by a US military veteran to slide into your two-inch trailer hitch receiver and give you the ultimate in adjustability and flexibility. You're gonna receive five two-inch receivers that are gonna let you mount your ball mount, your tow bar, bike rack, cargo carrier, and a whole lot more at various heights. Now this does have a gross towing weight of 25,000 pounds and a maximum tongue weight of 2000 pounds.

This will give you a maximum drop or rise of about 10 inches. And these stacked receivers that you see here are going to give you a rise or a drop to match the height of your particular application. You can use the included ball mount and pintle lock or with your own accessories. And this is even going to let you use your tow bar for flat towing. And you can just move the accessory up or down and secure at the chosen height with the included red pins and clips.

Now you can also, if you're not gonna be using this for towing, you can also use this as a hitch step. All you have to do is remove the accessories, flip this over horizontally, and then you can use that as a hitch step, which is a nice addition. Now the way that you're going to get the height adjustability with this cartridge, that's what this is called here, is all you're gonna have to do is remove this pin and clip, and then you're gonna be able to move this cartridge and mount it on this shank at that height that you are looking for. So you'll just take the cartridge off of the shank and then move the shank into whichever receiver is going to work best for you to get that adjustability. So as you can see, I have it here at the top one right now to give me the maximum drop, but you do have that range of adjustability.

Now this is going to, the ball mount, which is included here, is going to let you obviously hook up your trailer with various different couplers, so you can tow your vehicle. So you're gonna have your standard ball sizes here, the 1 7/8, the two-inch, and the 2 5/16 inch, gonna be very easy to swap out as you'll just remove the pin and clip, and then remove the ball mount and then turn it to whichever ball that you need at that moment. And then I mentioned that we do have a pintle lock here. So you're gonna be able to fit lunette ring couplers with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches or three inches. You'll slide the lunette ring over the ball and then the pintle lock will be extended as I have it here to go over that ring.

And then if you just wanna use this ball for a standard coupler, again, you'll remove the pin and clip, and you can actually retract the pintle lock back into the cartridge here, so it'll be out of your way, or you can remove it altogether, whichever is going to work best for you. And then you can use that ball again for a standard coupler. So I hope you're beginning to see that you've got a lot of adjust, a lot of flexibility, a lot of uses with this. Next we have our 3/4 of an inch D-ring. That's going to allow for multiple off-roading and recovery uses. If you notice the D-ring is color matched with the pins and the clips here with this really nice red color, and then with this, you're not gonna have to worry about rattling. Included are three stainless steel bolts that are going to keep your accessories from moving and vibrating the receivers. You'll just tighten them down with the included hex wrench here, and then that's also going to act as a theft deterrent as well. So that is included. You're not gonna have to worry about vibrations or rattling with the accessories that you have installed there. This is gonna be very sturdy for you. This is made of solid steel. It is covered in a textured powder coat finish. So I think this is gonna hold up pretty well against rust and corrosion. I think that finish will hold up pretty well. I do wanna mention about the paint on the pins and the clips in particular, just using them briefly, I did notice a little bit of flaking, so especially with the first couple of uses, you'll probably notice some of that red paint coming off a little bit. I just wanted to make you aware of that. But it does add a nice pop of color to your s
