2026 NJ LEE application period is expected to open March 1, 2026. The actual testing is expected to be administered by the New Jersey Civil Service Commission during the months of July 2026 into August 2026.
The NJCSC now administers the NJ LEE cycle allowing individual departments the ability to request an annual test. Those departments not requesting an annual test can maintain their current list from the previous testing cycle. Those departments included on an annual announcement will receive a new list when the new results come out. UPDATE to the video: The NJ LEE exam is now the shorter version of what is described in the video (only 30 Written Abilities questions; 135 WSQ Trait Assessment statements; and 75 LES Bio-Data questions over 2.5 hrs).
