Paul Kalanithi, neurosurgeon and never-smoker, was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer in 2013--but he didn't let that stop him from living his life. In January 2015, he won the Team Draft Lung Cancer Survivors Super Bowl Challenge and brought his wife and young daughter (born in 2014) to this once-in-a-lifetime experience of the Taste of the NFL and the 2015 NFL Super Bowl!
The Team Draft Lung Cancer Survivors Super Bowl Challenge rallied lung cancer survivors--those who had been diagnosed with lung cancer--to raise funds for research. The survivor who raised the most won tickets to the 2015 Super Bowl and the Taste of the NFL party.
Team Draft is dedicated to raising lung cancer awareness and increasing badly needed research funding by shattering the misconception that lung cancer is a “smoker’s disease.” Find out more at teamdraft.org
