Concordia University Irvine presents its sixth annual made-for-TV Christmas special. This year's theme, Emmanuel, reminds us of God’s promise to send a Savior. Jesus, born of Mary, is no ordinary child, but the incarnate Son of God, come to redeem the world. This is why he is called Emmanuel: God with us. God himself dwells among his people in Jesus.
Concordia's made-for-TV program features music produced and filmed on its campus and in the surrounding Orange County area. This special includes arrangements of favorite Christmas carols performed by Concordia’s choirs, orchestra, handbells, student soloists, and the Americana, jazz, and commercial music ensembles.
