Today we wind the clock back 4 weeks to see the start of a new bonsai development project. During 2019, I was given a young quince that had started life as a cutting. When it came to me it was quite a bit more developed but still with no place to go! In this episode, I carry out the initial root-ball pruning and then stick ‘what’s left’ into a plastic training pot.
I finish off by giving a short update on how the tree looks now… (Has it survived?) If there is interest in this tree then I will look to carry out regular video updates until it either graduates to bonsai glory…or has an unexpected career change!
I also mention some unexpected sleeping issues I encountered the night after I uploaded my first video to YouTube. I think I may have had a glimpse of the pressures faced by our younger generations on social media platforms. It was really B.A.D. (what could that be short for?)
