yeah big welcome back to the Sardine News
we've been travelling
all over the place looking at boats and
building websites and never non stop
and I just got back now to catch
up and check this wind out
yeah that's a proper buster or
whatever you wanna call it
but anyway we got a lot to catch up on
a lot to catch up on well first thing I can tell you
the fishing's on it check out these fish
not exactly sure who the anglers are but wow
that is good big gt fishing right there hey
we're gonna move on to
Paul Spekkies down at Umzimkulu River Cruises yeah
got the Rocky
got the rock salmon he has the other fish Paul has
caught over the last while
since he's been operating that boat down there
very nice work Paul okay
moving on we have got good sard news
yeah the Hookies are back in the shops
Gary Hook and the crew down there in Port Elizabeth
towards Mossel Bay
have been working extra hard to make sure
you actually got food to feed the fish
which is what we do all the time when we go fishing
we feed the fish but they gotta be fed
so anyway shot Garry for that information
there is some more sardine
news reports from East London area here's a little bit
I'm currently down here in this London off Hamburg
huge shoal of sardines around us
lots of bird activity there's whales and
lots of pods of dolphins as well
uh couldn't see any shots from so far but definitely
dolphins around definitely whales
uh a lot of action this
shoals've been going through for the last two days
are all moving very fast not
so yeah that's what's the latest on the sardine
and hopefully we'll see it on KZN Coast like within a month or so
and there's lots of baitfish
lots of baitfish

Black Rock side uh
lots of bait fish out here this morning
dolphins have just come past here
they actually going past the point here at the moment
not many fisherman around
I haven't actually seen anyone come down this morning
with their rods yet
as such we've got a slight offshore wind blowing here
at the present moment and yeah guys
look at all that bait fish out there
uh Sean maybe
I'm not too sure what it looks like
a bit of a red eye or mackerel
I'm not too sure but yes
a couple of them have passed us
by already it could be small natal sardines
we haven't launched out recently
but I will be going out in a couple of days time
to go do some deep sea fishing
and then we'll be able to determine exactly
what's going down there
I'll try and catch a few on some yozuri
or something like that but yeah
truly a beautiful day here at Hole in the Wall
uh Queen's Rock in the distance over there
famous fishing place quite dangerous but uh yes
definitely producers eh
