Debunking Azerbaijani History Books

Azerbaijani history textbooks reveal a disturbing amount of misinformation and propaganda taught to Azerbaijani children. This video critically examines two of the most audacious claims: that there were no Armenians in Artsakh in 1805, and that Yerevan was originally inhabited by Azerbaijani Turks and not Armenians. I also explore the potential motives behind this misinformation and discuss why it matters, not only for Azerbaijan and Armenia, but for the world at large. Through the lens of history and critical thinking, we aim to challenge these narratives, encouraging dialogue and understanding in the pursuit of truth.

Correction: Heyday Aliyev was the 3rd president of Azerbaijan, not the 1st. It doesn't change anything, but it's important for me to be accurate with my words.
