Quiet Walk in Hollywood Heights with Views | Los Angeles Secret Stairs | Former Home of Kurt Cobain

Описание: Join us on a short, peaceful walk in the Hollywood Heights area of the Hollywood Hills, where we climb some secret stairs and find the former home of Kurt Cobain on Alta Loma Terrace. This walk was inspired by a viewer suggestion; if you have any places you would like us to visit, please let us know in the comments!

Starting on High Tower Drive, we walk up towards the High Tower Elevator (only accessible to residents), and turn up the stairs at Los Altos Place then onto Broadview Terrace. It was a clear day, so there were good views over the city. After passing the tower, we turn onto Alta Loma Terrace. There, we come across the B.A.G. Fuller residence (1933), a modern style home listed as a historic-cultural monument. Next to this, is the former home of Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain, at 6881 Alta Loma Terrace. A 1920s craftsman style home, it is currently boarded up and in need of repairs, and is sadly at risk of demolition. We continue along the terrace, past historic and quaint homes, then down a final set of steps behind Highland Camrose Park.

The stairs and footpaths create a distinct feel to this area, providing a respite from the usual car-dominated streets and hinting at the early days of Hollywood. This is appreciated fully when we arrive at the busy Highland Avenue at the end of the video. We finish on Camrose Drive.

We are accompanied, as always, by our beautiful girl Summer, and we are also greeted by a cute little dog on our walk!
