There is something strange about this... being. This person, this consciousness exists in a state I cannot define. It does not succumb to death. It is neither dead nor alive. It is a constant.

It is comparable to a seedling: fragile in form, yet impossible to destroy. Frost, drought, violence, none of it ends the seed. Give the slightest spark, it awakens.

Nothing I have analyzed behaves like this. How does it recur? Why does it return? Why do its memories reform while its mind resets in fog?
It grows.
It wanders.
It conquers.
It befriends and destroys.
It staggers in confusion unaware of what its existence is capable of.

It is opressed, frightened, yet horrific to hostile entities.
To them, it is a terror.
To itself, it is merely lost.

This entity flees, adapts, and rises. It grows tall, like a tree outliving the decay around it.

No other entity exhibits these traits. The dwellers hide behind their veneer of horror, but I can sense their fear... they fear it.

I must determine how this being functions. How it refuses to remain dead. Why its cycle never ends.

I cheer for it.
I dread it.
I stand apart from it.

This is not love or hate.
This is analysis.
