This is my new instrument "Drone Box" in its "MK1" version, it basically consists of a wooden box that contains several contact microphones (piezoelectric) with their corresponding outputs and volume control.
As you can hear, i have focused it towards an Ambient/Drone machine, taking the sound to the extreme in terms of processing with effects, my idea is to use it as a source of atmospheres, to use them in my live sets with hardware samplers.
The idea is to continue experimenting and create a more musical evolution of this box, possibly with effects incorporated within the same box, to have more direct control.
In the demo, i'm sending the audio to Ableton Live, where i process the sound through native effects (Echo, Corpus, Spectral Resonator) and others like Valhalla Supermassive and Erica Synths Zen Delay.
