Anurag Saikia (born December 1988) is a National Award-winning composer, music director, producer, and instrumentalist from Assam, India. He is one of the youngest composers to receive the prestigious Rajat Kamal for Best Non-Feature Film Music Direction for the film Yugadrashta. With a distinctive ability to craft emotionally rich compositions, Anurag has established himself as one of the most versatile and sought-after musicians in India.

Born into a culturally rich family, Anurag’s artistic journey was inspired by his mother, Dipali Saikia, an All India Radio artist and teacher, and his father, Dr. Anil Saikia, an academician recognized for his contributions to preserving Assam's folk culture. Their influence instilled in him a deep appreciation for music and tradition, shaping his creative vision. His innovative initiative of syncing Borgeets (traditional Assamese devotional songs) with symphonic orchestras exemplifies his dedication to blending India’s rich musical heritage with contemporary styles.

Anurag's work spans Bollywood films like Karwaan, Thappad and Article 15, where his soulful melodies and evocative soundscapes have struck a chord with audiences nationwide. He has collaborated with celebrated artists such as Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, and others, creating timeless tracks that resonate deeply. His contributions to OTT series like Panchayat, Gullak and Mismatched further cement his reputation as a versatile composer.
