Описание: The third lesson in the series of videos created to help students learning fraction problem solving for third grade: Equivalent Fractions with Chocolate. This lesson includes the Math vocabulary: compare, numerator, denominator, unit fraction, and equivalent fraction. Students will see three fractions being modeled, 1/3; 2/6; and 4/12, all the while watching a real-life math problem unfold.
This video is similar to the types of lessons found in third grade classrooms all over the country and is designed and created by a Math Interventionalist heavily influenced by experiences helping students grasp the curriculum found in state-wide standards, Texas TEKS, and Common Core. Her mission is to give students learning at home the opportunity to experience classroom learning wherever they are and whenever they might need it.
