This is the theme music to the 1976 pilot for the proposed NBC Television game show "Shoot The Works". The show was renamed "Shoot For the Stars" and aired on NBC from January 3 to September 30, 1977. "Shoot for the Stars" was created and produced by Bob Stewart. The pitch and speed of this music is adjusted to reflect how it actually sounded on the pilot and show that aired as opposed to the slightly higher pitched and slightly faster tempo that was used as the "Jackpot" theme on the 1985-88 and 1990-1991 versions.
This music was written by Bob Cobert.
