The basic principle of operation of the Atomic Force Microscope using the Constant Height modes shown. AFM feedback is maintained along a constant coordinate of the scanner height Z, and the cantilever moves along the sample surface, bending over irregularities.

Показан базовый принцип работы Атомно-силового микроскопа по методу постоянной высоты. Обратная связь АСМ поддерживается по постоянной координате высоты сканера Z, а кантилевер перемещается вдоль поверхности образца, изгибаясь на неровностях.
