ACDelco Tools Cordless Rivet Gun and Rivet Nut Installer

Описание: While walking the floor at the ISN Dealer Expo 2017, we make it a point to visit the ACDelco Tools booth. A couple of tools we are sure to try is the cordless rivet gun and cordless rivet nut installer (nutsert). Both these tools are self-explanatory, hence easy to use.

I grab a nutsert (rivet nut) and a washer, place the washer onto the rivet nut, then thread it onto the cordless rivet nut installer a few threads. Second, I pull the trigger until the rivet nut mushrooms over the washer, then hit the reverse and back the threads out. This whole process only takes a few seconds. This is a great tool for installing nuts in any sort of project with sheet goods, or others.

Next, Milton, from ACDelco, hands me the ACDelco cordless rivet gun. This tool is a little more automatic. With the 1/8" rivet tip installed on the ACDelco tools cordless rivet gun, I reach for an 1/8" rivet. Slide the rivet into the gun, the same process as the typical manual rivet gun. Now, with the rivet in the cordless rivet gun, I push the business end of the rivet into the hole. Once it's ready, just depress the trigger and let go. The ACDelco rivet gun sets the rivet, removes the pin and auto-reverses. Just dip the tip toward the trash, your hand or the floor to dump the expended rivet stems.

We'll be sure to get these for review here at STR in the near future. We're excited to see ACDelco Tools expanding their line of tools. Both the cordless rivet gun and the rivet nut installer run on their 20V line.
