This is the wrap-up episode, where final soldering and component connections are made.
Testing of the wiring by applying power and checking voltages went well, and honestly I left most of that footage out, trying to keep the video rather brief.
I made very few errors at this stage of the build, but nothing that cause a setback.
The main “blunder” was soldering a lead from the power transformer to the wrong lug of a tube socket, and it was easily corrected.
This was mainly due to disorientation and working on small items that were often obscured by my hands. A mistake none the less.
Testing of voltages brought this error to my attention, and correcting it only took a minute.

Everything squeezed into the metal chassis, and it suddenly became very cozy.
With speaker and tubes added and boot-up procedures roughly followed, I am pleasantly pleased with the build.
It is louder than I was expecting, my dog does not approve. He’s a good judge of all things loud - he will leave the room when this is turned on.

Takeaways from the build:
All-in-all, the process went well.
With NO prior knowledge of tube amps, I chose to do a LOT of studying, and honestly I now have a VERY SMALL amount of knowledge.
There is a lot more to learn and since I find this stuff fascinating, I will probably continue reading and eventually build another amp.
The Boothill 5F1 kit had everything I needed, short of tubes, speaker, cabinet and transformers.
While I changed out some components in the kit, there was no need to do so. I just do that at times, change things for no real reason.
Where the Boothill kit varies from some of other kits is, YOU are expected to do your homework, to learn and not just follow a LEGO style assembly diagram. That was fine with me. I didn't want to just snap this together - why bother, right? I wanted to learn some stuff.
