Описание: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the special guest at a function held in Vigyan Bhawan to celebrate the World Bio-fuel Day which aims to promote the non-fossil fuels as an alternative to conventional fossil fuels.

Addressing the gathering he said " Government has formulated a national policy to promote ethanol and other biofuels with an eye to mix 10 percent of the ethanol with petrol in next four years and then double the target by 2030 to achieve a cleaner fuel."

He added that once we have developed complete expertise in the biofuel manufacturing then it will also benefit the farmers as the single grain from farmer's crop will not go waste.
