Red light runners are a danger to others as well as themselves. Aggressive, impatient or inattentive motorists who run a red light can be detected at certain intersections in unincorporated Hillsborough County.

The Red Light Enforcement Program, which is administered by Hillsborough County government (http://www.hillsboroughcounty.org/red... ), began to issue notices of violation on December 29, 2009. Hillsborough County sheriffs deputies review each photograph and corresponding data and determine if there was a violation of Florida State Statute 316.075 (1)(c)(1). Each violation is $158. All money received from violators is deposited in the countys general fund.

Remember, its all about safety. Just stop for red lights. Its red for a reason.
