After 12 hours of tension, puzzles, and psychological trauma, I’ve finally finished the Silent Hill 2 Remake. In this review, I’m breaking down why this game isn't just a remake—it’s one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had.

As someone who grew up in the Boy Scouts and competed as a State Champ athlete, I looked at this game through a unique lens: Survival. From the rewarding (but difficult!) puzzles to the top-tier voice acting, there is so much to love here. But... we need to talk about James's cardio and the lack of a survival knife.
