so trigonometry means measurements of triangles

✓Angle:
Two rays with a common starting point form an angle
*Initial side:
The first ray of an angle is called initial side
*Terminal side:
The second ray of an angle is called terminal side
*Vertex:
The common point of contact of rays is called vertex
*Notation:
Angle is denoted by Greek letter alpha, beta, gamma or theta

✓ Quadrantal Angle:
If terminal arms of an agle falls on x axis or y axis then angle is called quadrantal angle
Examples:
0°,90°,180°,270°,360° and 540° are Quadrantal Angles

✓ Acute Angle:
The angle less than 90° is called acute angle
Examples: 20°,30°,44°,60°,70° and 85° are acute angles

✓ Allied Angles:
The angles of the form 90°+/- A ,180°+/- A,
270°+/- A and 360° +/- A are called allied angles
wher A is any acute angle
Examples: 375°,480° ,120° and 600° are allied angles

✓Angle in standard position:
An angle is said to be in standard position if its initial side is along +ve x axis and its vertex at origin
Examples:
45°,60° ,75° and 150° are angles in standard position

Units of measurements of angle:

✓Circular System:
The system of measurement in which angle is measured in radians is called circular system
Example: pi/4

✓ One Radian:
The circular measure of an angle is called one Radian if arc length of the circle Equal to radius of the circle

✓Sexagesimal System:
The system of measurement in which angle is measured in degree, minutes or second is called sexagesimal System

✓ One Degree :
If we divide circumference of the circle into 360 equal parts then the angle subtended from the centre of the circle by one part or by an arc is called one degree

✓ One Minute:
The 60th part of one degree is called one minute

✓ One Second:
The 60th part of one minute is called one second
or
The 3600th part of one degree is called one second

✓ Graph of a function and its inverse is reflecting about the line y = x
Table Values of Trigonometric Functions:
✓sinO°= 0 ,sin30° = 1/2 , sin45°= 1/ root 2 , sin60°=root3/2 ,sin90°=1
✓cosO°= 1 ,cos30° = root3/2 , sin45°= 1/ root 2 , cos60°=1/2 ,cos90°=0
✓tanO°= 0, tan30° = 1/root3 , tan45°= 1, tan60°=root 3 ,tan90°=undefined
