I explain foundational GEM© principles, including why we, as aesthetic practiitoners, should work from lateral to medial, and move through each concentric ‘layer of the onion’ in order, when repositioning tissues to restore volume and structural support for our patients

💎As we treat one side at a time, we start to see a lift on the laterally treated side, before we begin our medial treatments, all guided by the latest evidence, as set out in the Global Evidence Matrix (GEM©)

To round off Part 3, I touch down onto the maxilla using a 27 G needle as I begin to treat the medial cheek using slow injection pressure - a crucial safety precaution when using a high G prime filler product

This improves Em’s cheek hollowing but highlights further concavity in the deep lateral cheek fat, so we finish off by treating this to give her the best possible aesthetic outcome
