In this weeks video, Kenny of All Trades and his faithful sidekick Toby are taking you into an empty campground in North Central Minnesota. We are surrounded by only the sounds of nature and a warm campfire to keep us company.
I really enjoyed this weeks video. It was so peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. I know there are folks who second guess the idea of camping alone. I'm not sure if it's a fear thing, or a lonely thing. I believe nothing recharges my mental batteries and fills my soul like being alone in nature.
This spot was great. It had only enough cell service to send out text messages. That allowed me to keep in contact with family, without being able to look at my YouTube analytics or check out Facebook. Its nice to disconnect for a while and focus on whats real. This weekend the sounds of social media chatter was replaced with a babbling river and trumpeter swans. Thats exactly what I needed.
